I'm in Amalfi. Amalfi! The Coast line in Italy here is something to behold. Driving here was like a dream. There's a other-worldly kind of glow that the coastlines hold. It reminds me of what it felt like as a kid to know that magic is real. It's no surprise that the people here are welcoming and happy to know and see one another given the fabulous beauty, perfect weather and traditional Italian culture.

Anecdotally, I exited the bus with another man, and the first thing he thought to do was to help direct me. A shopkeeper held onto my luggage for hours while I explored the city. A passer-by worked with me to direct me through the city in English. I laughed with a gelato shop because when I asked what was good there, they said everything, and we started bantering. The host of my stay welcomed me and even gave me a nicer place than I originally paid for because it was available. He also welcomed me to his garden and assisted me in getting set up in the home. People smile when they walk by and will drop what they're doing to make sure you are well.

Mentally, my time in the city has been whimsical. My mind wanders, and I find myself writing romantic literature, buying gifts, and in a state of ecstasy while overlooking the beach and water. I can feel myself changing, growing, and expanding.
