Habit a basic building block of the future we are creating for ourselves. Our habits are bets on a future we desire OR ignorance about the future we are creating by performing these habits. Ignorance is bliss. We can choose to ignore the eventual result of the habits that we have, OR we can deliberately choose what habits we want to perform to create the future we visualize. Are the daily habits we perform contributing to the future we want for ourselves? Some things to consider:

  1. Do we make healthy choices for our physical health?
  2. Do we participate in healthy relationships?
  3. Do we check in with ourselves with meditation or prayer?
  4. Do we make choices that help us grow like reading or watching videos?
  5. Are we contributing towards the goals we have set for ourselves?
  6. Are we clean in body, heart, mind, and soul?
  7. Do we participate in our creative outlet?
  8. Are we financially sound?

Not all of these will happen every day. Perfect days are possible. The more we release and allow ourselves to be great, the closer we will be the people we can see ourselves to be. If we don't make the conscious effort to visualize ourselves in the place we want to be we will be no closer tomorrow than we are today. However, if we visualize the person we want to be and the patterns and habits that person exudes, then we consciously shift our thinking and habits to be closer to being that person each day. We will create the life we dream about if we only choose the best habits.
