Today I took a trip to LA. I started eh day around nine-thirty with a smoothie bowl with mostly Mango, Coconut Milk, and Banana. I added Lion's Mane Mushroom Extract, CBD, Ashagandwa and a general Vitamin. Then I grabbed the bag I had started to pack for myself the night before and headed to Malibu!
When I arrived, Panos, my great friend, had just arrived. He hopped into my car and we ordered food from Neptune's Net, a famous roadside stop at Malibu's entrance.
Not too long after, we were watching waves over lunch. We talked about this great new opportunity Panos found. Being an intelligent Math major, he had great background on what was, at its core, a technical problem. As it stands, transmitting data over networks like Wifi and Bluetooth is vulnerable to a man-in-the-middle attack, meaning data can be intercepted without encryption. The solution is Chaos theory, where transmitting data would be next to impossible to interpret without something to decrypt it on the other end. Made possible by casing phones, this would eventually become a part of the actual hardware in the phone itself. It is brilliant that Panos happened to come across this opportunity.
After we ate, we walked on the beach. We talked about traveling to Greece, how awesome it is to have homes so close to the ocean. Afterwards we talked through relationships and the status of COVID, how it has affected travel plans and relationships.
Next time I see him, we will be surfing in SB!
From there, I left toward Pasadena. I called Janelle to check in. There was some confusion around there being two Huntington Gardens. The next hour drive I enjoyed the scenery, drove by Pepperdine for the first time and experienced Malibu from my three-thousand-pound-metal-ACed box on wheels. When I arrived at The Huntington, I purchased some waters, made myself well acquainted with the staff by asking if we could check-in early and, oddly enough, getting my temperature checked in one-hundred-five degree weather.
Then I waited at the entrance for Janelle to arrive. When she did, we hugged and went toward the entrance. We went through seamlessly and headed toward the Library which was closed. As we entered the gardens, we sat at a bench to catch up. Janelle updated me on her day-to-day and how things changed career-wise at the beginning of the year and in March. I will keep her information private. Basically, the day became what I love most about people. We connected over our common interests, the upcoming events that we align on, and, mostly, purpose and passion. These two topics touch me in a way that is clear it is my mission to share with other people.
I live for making my dreams come true and enjoy sharing that overflowing fountain with the people around me. Maybe that's what this is for after all? I produce content to guide people to themselves.
Freedom is invoked by your passion. Peace is invoked by your passion. Joy is invoked by your passion.
What lights your life. What are you afraid to do because someone told you you could not or because you think you may want to do it later in life? There is no tomorrow. There is only today.
Do what you think you might want to do late in life in the present and your life will open opportunities life a Lotus Flower out of murky water.
